The Overhead Stirrer is a compact unit with solid state speed control capable of providing RPM/torque combinations for most laboratory operations such as homogenizing or mixing. The Overhead Stirrer should be attached only to tissue grinders with PTFE pestles and with stainless steel rods (Potter-Elvehjem Tissue Grinders). Unit and motor are mounted in a housing with epoxy finish and is provided with a 6" aluminum rod and clamp for attachment to any support stand. Key-less chuck accepts shaft sizes to 5/16" (7.9mm) 1 year warranty. (Support stand not included).
