) Omni Prep Multi-Sample Homogenizer
The innovative Omni Prep Multi-Sample Homogenizer is specifically designed to streamline the labor and time intensive homogenization process. The Omni Prep Homogenizer processes six samples per cycle and up to approximately 250 samples per hour per technician.
The Omni Prep operates with Omni Tip™ Plastic Homogenizer Probes that help to eliminate cross-contamination and cleaning associated with stainless steel generator probes. Omni Tips™ are so tough they can homogenize frozen tissue and may be disposed of, reused, or autoclaved. The Omni Prep employs specially designed oscillating sample racks which accommodate tube size configurations from 1.5ml to 50mL. Microprocessor control allows the user to program the time (up to 10 minutes) and speed (500 - 30,000 rpm) of the cycle and free up valuable research time. Sample volumes of 0.25mL to 30mL can be homogenized with the Omni Prep. The Omni Prep is small enough to fit in any laminar flow cabinet. Optional 10mm stainless steel probes add versatility to the unit and Whisper Drive Technology allows for ultra-quiet operation and long motor life. An optional ice tray is also available for sensitive samples. The Omni Prep Homogenizer is an ideal system for Pharmaceutical Research, Molecular Biology, tissue homogenization, and food & plant analysis.
