Cytosolic and microsomal membrane fractions were isolated from the rosette leaves of 3.5-week-old Arabidopsis plants. The leaves (20 g) were homogenized at 4°C in 60 mL of homogenization buffer, and a few drops of antifoam, using an Omni-mixer homogenizer, (eight 3-s bursts at a setting of 10).
