Cell pellets were washed
and resuspended in 10 ml of lysis buffer. The lysate was maintained on ice for
20 min. The cell suspension was further disrupted with a rotor stator
homogenizer, and four cycles of sonification using an ultrasonic homogenizer
(sonicator) of 10 s each.
