A cell pellet was resuspended in 400 μl of ice-cold lysis buffer (pH 8.0) and lysed with a bead ruptor (bead beater) by using 0.5 g of 0.5-mm glass beads per sample. Lysate was centrifuged (10,000 × g, 30 s) and supernatant was collected.
