A TiO2 stock solution was prepared at a concentration of 0.02 mg/ml in distilled water. One ml of the nanoparticle dispersion was sonicated with an ultrasonic homogenizer (sonicator) at different intensities (20%, 50% or 100%) and different durations of sonication (10 sec, 1 min or 5 min).
