Recombinant cells were harvested from culture broth by centrifugation at 6,000 × g for 30 min at 4°C, washed twice with 0.85% NaCl, and then resuspended in a lysis buffer (pH 8.0). The resuspended cells were disrupted using an ultrasonic homogenizer (sonicator) on ice for 2 min.
