Cells were harvested by centrifugation at 6,000 × g for 15 min at 4°C. The pellet was suspended in 25 ml of phosphate-buffered saline. The cell suspension was sonicated six times for 10 s each time with an ultrasonic homogenizer (sonicator) with a medium tip at a setting of 7.
