Unilamellar vesicles were prepared using bovine brain PS or egg-yolk PC. The lipid was hydrated at a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml in 20 mM acetate buffer, pH 7.4 for 10 min. Then the sample was sonicated with an ultrasonic homogenizer (sonicator) for ~15 min.
